This article may come as a surprise to you, but most of the methods used to lose fat that sound like they work, DON’T  get panic, however, because you can lose fat quickly, and safely, without starving in the process.

The developed world faces an epidemic of huge proportions - literally. People are getting fatter and fatter as time  going on.

Excessive body fat has been linked to a number of chronic, degenerative diseases, including diabetes,  nocturnal apnoea, cardiovascular diseases, arterial hypertension, arthrosis of the backbone and lowerlimbs problem, fertility anomalies, and cancer.

There is a way to treat this epidemic, and it is to apply proven methods to lose the excess body fat responsible for these problems.

First things first: Food is good!

You love food! You need food! No food  no life, right? Absolutely. That is why the first great thing to know about losing weight is that you don’t have to starve yourself to get there.

Don’t be afraid of losing (or gaining) muscle!

Excess fat or not, men’s and women’s bodies structure are inherently different. A common fear of women is that, in the fat burning process, they will become excessively muscular.

Likewise, there is a fear among some men that their body will be weak and thin underneath their extra fat.

There is no reason to be afraid of either of these scenarios. Men will, under any normal circumstance  gain more muscle than women. And what muscle that women will gain, will be sleek, toned, and in a sexy shape.

Move it or…Gain it!

Yes, it’s true - move it or lose it applies to muscle. But if you don’t move that fat, you’re not going get anywhere. Excercise is an essential part of any fitness plan. To make sure that what you are left with after your fat comes off, and trust me, it will - is a firm, toned body, balance yourself - engage in a mixture of cardio and strength training.

Metabolize!

Why can some people seem to eat and eat and eat, and never gain a pound, while you just have to look at a slice of cheesecake to pile it on?

The short and sweet answer is: metabolism! The right combination of excercise and foods can set your metabolism (your body’s ability to burn calories) into high gear, permanently!

Forget about “restriction” diets!

You require fat, carbohydrates, and protein. They are the building blocks of your body.

A diet which restricts their intake will lead to unbalance, and will not take you down the magical, golden road to fat loss and muscle gain.

The key is to choose the fat, carbohydrates, and protein, in the forms and quantities that are best for your body and best for your metabolism.

Infact, restricting certain forms of calories will drag your metabolism to a grinding halt - it’s like saying to your body, “hey, you! There’s a famine, there’s no food, and you have to conserve every calorie I put into you!”

(Your body doesn’t think any differently than it did, thousands of years ago, when we were all more likely to face actual famine, and this is a prime reason that fad diets simply won’t cut it for you.)

Forget the supplements!

You can spend countless hours and countless dollars reading about, buying, and swallowing countless pills, tablets, powders, teas, and capsules. The fact is that you can do this!

Losing fat takes work. But now you know that you can get it done quickly and safely, without giving up what noone should have to give up - eating!

I am in the best shape of my life right now. I’m lean, I’m toned, my muscular definition is good, my strength has gone through the roof…and believe me, it’s some mighty good eating in my kitchen!

If I can do this, you can do it too!
