Higher levels of Vitamin C are needed when under environmental stress such as trauma, fever or infection. Full saturation is reached with daily intakes of 200-500 mg per day (in 2-3 divided doses).

Although Vitamin C is non-toxic, Vitamin C overdose can impede metabolic activities in the physical structure and can trim back the grades of cu and essential nutrients in the physical structure. Vitamin C overdose causes bellyaches, gaseous state, and looseness with many side consequences such as tum muscle spasms and sickness.
