Foods high in omega 3 fatty acids are flax seed oil, soybean oil, hemp oil and some other plant oils. It should be kept in mind that plant oils are also rich in omega 6 fats which raise blood pressure and balance cholesterol levels in the body.

It is advisable not to consume plant oils in large quantities all at once. In addition to this, flax seed oil contains only ALA which is a long-chain fatty acid.
